I was so excited when the WnW Holiday 2010 Coloricon palettes finally hit stores late Oct. 2010. I got all 4 of these palettes (thanks to @caddylove02, @MakeupByCandie and Howard). So my love for the WnW Coloricon palettes started months ago after watching YouTube videos and read on twitter how great they were  I was unable to find them, so the lovely @ReeRee_MUA sent me my first 2 original Coloricon palettes in Pride and Vanity. And from there on I was hooked. Unlike the original Coloricon palettes, the Holiday palettes do not have corresponding shimmer and matte shades. the shades are all shimmer or frosty. Just like the original Coloricon palettes, the formulas for these shadows are creamy, smooth, and long-wearing, not to mention very very pigmented. The Holiday palettes also come with a bonus eyeliner pencil in a color to match the palette.  All for only $4.99 (well if your lucky like some ladies I've talked to $2.99 on sale).

The Golden Goddess palette offers six beautiful brown shades. I am neutrals type of girl and this palette is AMAZING!! There is such a wide spectrum of browns that I think every skin tone can wear and come up with 100s of looks using all or most of the shades in the palette. Now my 2 favorite color are the burnt orange and chocolates brown with gold shimmer on the bottom row.

Now the next palette is The Night Elf which I must say is definitely the most unique palette of the 4 palettes (I think this is due to a lot of people not really owning shades like these {unless you are a MUA or someone who lives for makeup like myself} and also due to the matching of the colors in the palette, people really didn't understand how they would work but once people tried them out and saw how beautiful the color blend together they were hooked). Now this palette is the smokey eye palette of the 4, but with 2  suprising shades added. The festive red shade, and blue-brown duo chrome shade (which is a red-brown based shadow with a blue over tone that makes the most beautiful outstanding color you have ever seen). This palette comes with a black (with sliver shimmer) eye liner pencil. My 2 favorite colors in this palette are the Beigy-taupe in the middle row and the blue-brown duo chrome on the bottom row.

Now The Sugar Plum Fairy palette is a purple lovers dream come true. The top two shades seem to be a white and peachy-beige shade, but once these shades are swatch you come to see they are really purple duo chrome shades . This palette comes with a purple (with purple shimmer) eye liner pencil. Now my favorite color happens to be the blacken burgundy with shimmer on the bottom left. Now a lot of people have been saying this color looks like NARS's Galapagos eye shadow which is not true at all (Galapagos is rich bronze with gold flecks). I would say this color is a better version of MAC's Beauty Mark eye shadow.

Now last but not least is The Snow Sprite palette. This palette features beautiful shades of blue and green. The lighter shades in this palette have a nice frosty sheen to them which kinda makes them look wet on the eye (which is a very hot effect). The Snow Sprite palette comes with a silver eye liner pencil. Now my 2 favorite colors in this palette happens to be the to blacken shades on the bottom row. The first shade is a blacken shimmery hunter green (which when swatched still shows to be green and just not black with green shimmer). And the blacken shimmery navy blue (which like the green, when swatched you can tell it is a deeper blue shade and not just a black with blue shimmer).

The WnW Holiday 2010 Coloricon palettes are found in grocery stores or drugstores. These palettes are limited edition and have been selling out quickly. A lot of people (myself being one of these people) have been having a very hard time finding these palettes in my area. I had to get these palettes sent to me by other people in different cities and states. Now once these palettes have been found many people have said that there are only between 4-8 palettes per store and many stores have not restocked them and have taken down the display. Now on twitter WnW made this statement "@wetnwildbeauty: Sorry to all of you that's been having a hard time finding the holiday palettes! We had no idea they were going to be so popular!" this has seemed to kinda (maybe just a tiny little bit) help people understand that WnW did not foresee or did not understand what a cult following WnW now has due to the Coloricon line. WnW is no longer the cheap tacky brand from our high school days (lol yes I'm old class of 2000 baby!) but now is a ever growing drugstore brand who are giving higher end makeup brands a run for their money. Now I hope everyone gets their hands on at least one of these gorgeous palettes. And I can't wait to see what else WnW has in store for us beauty lovers.
